Virum Residence 02 is the careful transformation of a classic villa in Virum, where the ambition is to preserve the character of the original architecture while adapting it to contemporary family life.

Rather than introducing dramatic interventions, the project focuses on refinement—strengthening the existing spatial qualities through a considered architectural approach, bespoke detailing and a restrained material palette. The original proportions, generous volumes and craftsmanship are allowed to remain the defining elements, while new solutions create a calm and cohesive home that feels both timeless and contemporary.

The surrounding landscape is conceived as a natural extension of the architecture, establishing a seamless dialogue between house and garden. Together with carefully curated furniture and lighting, the project seeks to create a home defined by longevity, atmosphere and understated elegance.
